Known for his sweet timbre and wide vocal range, Marshall is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist in the Lowcountry.
Marshall’s mother taught him how to sing at a very early age before a chronic illness robbed her of a truly beautiful singing voice. With her roots in rural Georgia, she taught her son how the right tune performed with the right spirit can cut as sharply as a surgeon’s scalpel. Marshall and his mother are still each other’s biggest fan.
Classically trained in orchestral upright bass, Marshall sought something more portable to accompany his voice and something more dynamic to help him when writing music. Over the years, he fell in love with learning guitar.

Baking is in Marshall’s blood. Between the generations of Jewish bakers in eastern Europe and New York on his father’s side and his mother’s reputation for casually serving up 50 quiches at a house party, each side taught Marshall the magic of how baking can bring people to both delight and unite.
Marshall was originally drawn to photography by how it could enhance his other passions rather than distract him from them. As time elapsed, photography developed into its own passion. Marshall appreciates how the study of light provides him a creative outlet and allows him to capture precious moments.
